Primeore Group represented by Primeore Trading (Polska) Sp. z o.o. entered into a strategic partnership with Ekin Maden Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. (Turkey). The companies will cooperate in delivering of crucial raw materials – bulk ferroalloys – to the companies from steel and metal sectors in Turkey. Primeore will act as a seller while Ekin Maden will be handling marketing and sales activities in Turkey acting in a capacity of an agent.

The steel industry has become one of the most developed sectors in Turkey and today counts as the fourth largest contributor to the Turkish economy. Steel production in Turkey has increased significantly since 2001, growing from 15 million tons in 2001 to 40.4 million tons in 2021. Growth of the industry has been driven by strong domestic consumption, furthermore, Turkish steel manufacturers export to all over the world, due to competitive prices and effective marketing strategies.
